Barry Bonds is taking cuts at UCLA but is still along way away from being on the field. Also Angel Chavez was called up to take Cruz's roster spot. Cruz was traded to the Nationals and Jason Christiansen is gone to the Angels for three minor league pitchers which is a rip off. Thanks Angels. Chavez was a represntative at the Future All Stars game. Giants rallied last night to win 4-3. Hennessey pitched very well and Durham has three hits. Matheny threw out a runner a second to end the game and give Benitez his 8th save.

What is Bonds saying now about coming back this year?

Bonds says he might be ready to work out with the team when they go to LA. He is already running, hitting and throwing. If he gets in just one game this year, I will be happy.

Imagine the excitement of baseball fans if he did get one game in. The last game of the season. Then, he hits 4 HR! Would that blow your mind reef?

That would blow everyone's minds since everyone thinks he is done. Carlton Fisk hit 53 homers after the age of 41 and that's how many Bonds needs.
