    Opening Series@ Arizona 4/6-4/8

    versus

    Scouting Report:
Giants: Lincecum has had mixed success in three previous Opening Day starts. He received a no-decision while yielding three runs in three innings in 2009 vs. Milwaukee, blanked Houston for seven innings in a victory the following year and then lost in L.A.

Dbacks: Kennedy will be making his second successive Opening Day start. He finished fourth in the NL Cy Young Award voting last year after winning 21 games. Kennedy was dominant against the Giants in 2011, going 3-0 with a 1.22 ERA in five starts

Going with the D-Backs in game one because Kennedy is smiling in his pic and lincecum looks like he knows where he buried the bodies.

This is the lineup I would like to see tonight:
    1. Blanco CF
    2. Cabrera RF
    3. Posey C
    4. Sandoval 3B
    5. Belt 1B
    6. Huff LF
    7. Burriss 2B
    8. Crawford

It's going to be loaded with lefties against Kennedy

5-4 D-Backs... Get a non mugshot photo of Cain and they'll win tomorrow.

A few notes from the game:
    Fuck Paul Goldschmidt
Lincecum needs to get back to basics and have his father on retainer. Also, he should have been pulled when the bases were loaded.
Huff should have been pulled when Patterson came in. Pill or Sanchez should have hit for him.
    Hensley looked good.
Posey looked good behind the plate and now has a 14 game hit streak
    Panda's bat looked slow.
Back to back Opening Days with three errors
It's another one run loss so Giants baseball is back

Bumgarner on the mound today and has already given up 2 HR to Aaron Hill. Giants down 4-0, top of the 3rd. So far, Daniel Hudson has been throwing darts!

Panda starts off 2012 nicely though. Homerun off Hudson.

Brett Pill had a great 2012 debut with a pinch hit 2-R HR! I wish he would have been in there last night against Patterson instead of Huff. Bumgarner only lasted four innings. Weird to see the Giants score four runs in each game and lose.

Giants have a six run lead early for the highest paid right handed in MLB history! Posey hit his 1st HR of the season and Crawford had a big 2-R double. Giants scoring this many runs makes me very happy. So far, 14 in three games

Well the highest paid RH pitcher just gave up back to back HR to make it 6-5 in the 6th Goddamnit!
