Giants NLCS Rematch, Giants @ Philly

Here's another chance for the Giants to get "lucky" since they don't face Halladay or Lee in this three game set. It will be Lincecum/Worley, Zito/Hamels and Cain/Kendrick. The Giants are coming off an off day of sorts. They visited the White House yesterday so they should be well rested even with all the travel. I have really liked what I have seen from Keppinger so hopefully he keeps it up and I would like to see more Belt but I know Bochy won't let that happen. I see us taking 2 of 3 from the first place Phillies but it's a series that can go either way. Should be a good one nonetheless.

Lincecum scratched because of flu, Zito gets the nod in his place.

Giants got the early lead scoring one in the first but Zito squandered it by immediately giving up four runs in the bottom half of the first and that's where I quit watching. With Sanchez close to returning, Zito days should be numbered.

It was a great outing by Cain getting the early lead and not giving it up. Tonight we get to see the debut of Beltran and Lincecum on the bump. Only thing better would be a win! Let's take these fuckers!!!

Giants are up 2-0 in the top of the 5th! Pablo hit an opposite field shot and Nate has a RBI single. Timmy hasn't looked sharp but after 7 days, it was kind of expected. He's still throwing up zeroes which is all I care about.

Great series win for the Giants as they win 4-1. Lincecum goes to 9-8 and Beltran goes 0-4 in his debut. He did make a diving catch though so wasn't a complete dud of a debut. The Phillies were the best team (record wise) and the Giants took the best of three and will face them for four next week at home. Giants now go to Cincy to try and knock them out and then take Ramon Hernandez back home with them
