    Giants A's @ San Francisco, Battle by the Bay

    The Bay series battle starts tonight and the A's have their Cy Young candidate going against our 6th starter, Cahill vs Vogelsong. I will admit I am not looking forward to Cahill making our pathetic offense look even worse. All I can hope is that Vogelsong keeps us in the game and that miracles can happen.

    Giants win game 1 2-1 in extras with Huff's single, Cahill and Volgesong pitched real well.

    Lincecum threw a CG shutout, 3h, 0bb, Giants win 3-0.

    Giants look to sweep tomorrow with Sanchez on hill against Gonzalez.

    Great to see the Giants have been beating the A's. I have been in an alcohol induced haze since Thursday so haven't really got to watch much baseball.

    Jeremy Affeldt strikes again! Why he is being used in close games is beyond me. Giants had a 2-1 lead then Affeldt only gets one out and that was a sacrifice. Its now 4-2 A's with six outs left for the Giants.

    Giants comeback and win! Nate hit a game-tying 2 run HR and Manny Burriss comes up with the game winning hit in the 11th. Great series for the Gmen!!
