    Giants Giants @ Pittsburgh

It wasn't pretty offensively but the Giants came from behind to win in extra 3-2. Cain pitched a beauty as did Morton for the Pirates. The Pirates helped give this one away with errors in the 10th but we'll take it! The four game losing streak is snapped and we need to do better going forward.

After snapping a four game losing streak, the Giants get shut down by James McDonald and the Pirates bullpen. The Giants offense is looking pretty awful here the past week or so. We have a huge blackhole at SS, Huff is not doing anything to suggest he should be hitting third and Ross hasn't sparked anything. Bochy needs to shake things up and hit Sandoval third, Huff fifth and let Fontenot or Burriss start at SS. Only good thing to take away from tonight's game was that MadBum got a quality start and might be getting on the right track.

And now we wait for Mofo since you uttered the name "James McDonald". Well, typed, but pretend it was uttered
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

PITTSBURGH (AP)—Ryan Vogelsong(notes) won while making his first start in almost seven years, pitching effectively into the sixth inning against his former team and leading the San Francisco Giants over the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2 Thursday.

… Originally drafted by the Giants, Vogelsong was the primary piece of a trade to get ace Jason Schmidt(notes) from Pittsburgh in 2001. …
    Poor Pirates.
