Yes, it does matter who they give rings to. Otherwise, what's the point of rooting for or against someone like LeBron, for example, to win his first ring if, say, the year 2034 Miami Heat hands him one regardless?

What a stupid comment and point you are trying to make. If the 2034 Heat give LeBron a ring, is that somehow going to take away from the fact he never won one as a player? No, its not.

I agree it's not, and you can accuse me of acting materialistic but my whole point is about the bling-bling, not the spirit of it. And knowing that asshole Marichal finally has bling to flaunt chaps my ass.
