    6/22: Lincecum's 104th start

An exciting matchup! San Francisco Giants (Tim Lincecum) at Houston Astros (Roy Oswalt) . So far, The Freak has faced the Angels, Tigers, Orioles, Royals, A's, Blue Jays, and every team in the National League, and he'll now face the Astros. You can't ask for a better schedule to start off.

I'm going: 9 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 walks, 13 strikeouts. The Astros are dead last in the MLB in batting average, so I doubt they get many hits. They suck.

Mock threads lost their style in 2008.

Lincecum has already lost his chance at the perfect game, or even the shutout, after the scary bottom third of the Astros lineup.

Leo enjoys copying people's posts word-for-word in order to mock them. His opening post here (mocking the thread about Strasburg's 4th major league start) is just one example of his douchebaggery. That URL title I posted is in reference to his other instances. For example, he has taken to making threads titled "Classless Chargers running up the score" whenever his Chargers are winning by a wide margin to his delight, in mocking the criticism of the "Classless Patriots running up the score" on opponents during their 16-0 season. People being "on thin ice" is yet another one.

I'm sure his "Padres irrational complaint" thread's intent was to mock my gametime reaction threads.

I've mocked the "classless team running up the score" for more than just the Chargers.

The Padres irrational complaint thread was inspired by your thread but it was still an honest effort to bitch and not intended as a mock. (I usually don't do the mocks here...at least not anymore. This thread was an exception)

    Re: 6/22: Lincecum's 104th start

I purposely over-do the mocks at TheNFLforums/StadiumRejects/POW and at TSZ because it's become a bit of a niche over there. It's dumb but it's part of the dynamic of the group of posters and it's "my thing". Call it "douchebaggary" "not funny" or whatever you will, others over there do as well, but it is what it is.

This thread was an honest mock that stemmed from the main reason I'd mock shit from the beginning before I began looking for shit to mock just for the sake of mocking over there.

All the needless over-hyping nut hugging of every one of Strasburg's starts was getting ridiculous, so I mocked one of the threads with a random pitcher who's also very good.

And before you say it, yes I am a bit sore that the Padres didn't get him but that feeling is independent of my distaste for overhyped nut hugging of unproven players.

I'm sure the posters over there think it's a riot as much as you do, considering most of you appear to have the mental capacity of 8-year olds. It must be awful to have a debate with a mental midget who edits in "boo hoo, wah wah" into your quotes and thinks he has you Pwned by telling you to "get the sand out of your vagina", as was the case in every other thread on TheNFLforums.

And on the subject of nut hugging unproven players, I remember fondly that J5 and SC were so fed up with my mocking their nut hugging of A.J.'s draft picks that they not only put me on their ignore list, but that they were such egomaniacs to continue quoting my posts, thereby activating the reminder so they can pump their chest over it.
