    MLB Lineceum K's 15 in 4-2 Victory

Lincecum dazzles to beat Pirates, Ks 15 - MLB - Yahoo! Sports

SAN FRANCISCO (AP)—Tim Lincecum(notes) looked like his old self, pitching a four-hitter and bouncing back from a rough outing with a career-high 15 strikeouts in the San Francisco Giants’ 4-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday night.

The reigning NL Cy Young Award (11-3) winner provided the Giants with a much-needed boost on the heels of a disappointing 3-7 road trip that saw them lose their wild card lead. The hard-throwing right-hander earned his fourth complete game this season and sixth of his career, finishing his 115-pitch gem in 2 hours, 6 minutes.
The fact that movies are longer than this start, says enough. Some where Mark Buherle is smiling.

That is a studly line. Somewhere reef is out there salivating when looking at those numbers.

Lincoln is up to AAA now, after a 2.28 ERA with a 65-18 K-BB ratio in AA.

Truthfully, there was a lot to dislike about Lincecum coming out of college(Frame, size, delivery). Not saying the Lincoln was the right pick or anything, but Lincecum is one guy I understand why we didn't take.

Besides, he'd be in A ball if we took him anyway, recovering from a second shoulder surgery. Our luck with pitching is just that bad.

Every start he has like this makes me more angry at Bavasi for taking Morrow.

He was in our ****ing back yard and we let him get away the pick before.

Another W for Lincecum after a Giants loss, he's been money since he has been called up!
