    Giants Giants @ Los Angeles

Barry Zito (0-2, 3.99 ERA) versus Chad Billingsley (5-0, 2.21 ERA)

This is a huge series for the Giants in the wake of the Manny suspension. The Dodgers are currently 5.5 games up early in the season threatening to run away with the division. This is the perfect time for the Giants to crawl back into this race and stop the Dodgers momentum. Barry Zito is looking for that first win and it will be tough against Billingsley. The Giants got to him early last game but Chad settled down and the Dodgers eventually won. The Giants are pumped about the 50 game suspension for Manny and know what they have to do. Lets just hope they execute.

Stat of the day- Burriss is hitting .429 with a .500 OBP this month.

No word yet. Molina is coming off a two homer day so Bochy might keep him in there.

Great game last night and Zito continues to impress. He now has a 3.57 ERA and got his first win of the year. Giants beat the almighty Billingsley at at home no less. Great win for the Giants.

If ever the Giants needed a great series this is it. This is the time to make up for that first terrible road trip!

Giants got embarrassed being shut out by Eric freaking Stults in a 8-0 crushing. Sanchez gave up five runs and is now officially our version of Oliver Perez. Sandoval got the day off after catching and Ishikawa went 0-3. Time is running out for Travis so he needs to start making contact and getting hits. Believe it or not, Burriss is heating up and went 2-3 today. He is having a great May so far.

Tim Lincecum (3-1, 3.05 ERA) versus Jeff Weaver (1-0, 1.00 ERA)

Giants have the reigning Cy Young winner on the hill to try and take another series from the Dodgers. I like our chances here.

Stat of the day- Giants lead the NL in infield hits with 33.

Winn is hitting 5th, Burriss 7th and Ishikawa 8th. Interesting to say the least.

1-0 thanks to Lincecum walking the leadoff man and then throwing the ball away on a pickoff move with the Pierre advancing to third. A sac fly later, its 1-0 after one.

Its 2-2 in the 5th. Giants are making Jeff Weaver looks like Don Drysdale

3-2 now after a Pierre double in the 5th. Pierre is killing us and so is Weaver. Is this ****ing Bizarro world?

4-2 after a Hudson double. Its amazing what extra base hits can do for an offense.

4-3 after a Burriss RBI single. He has beenthe hottest Giant and is hitting over .500 this month. Might be time to move him up in the order. Lewis struck out on three pitches to end the inning. He is allergic to RBI. Nate needs to start. Aurilia also had a terrible pinch hit at bat and needs to be released as he isn;t cutting it.
