    Giants Giants @ Chicago

Giants lose the first game 4-2 on a shaky performance by Jonathan Sanchez. He gave up four runs in just four innings while walking six. He also struck out six driving his pitch count to over 100 before even reaching the 5th. The bullpen held the Cubs in check but the offense couldn;t get much going. Sandoval and Molina drove in the only runs. Sandoval is really starting to hit like we all thought he could while Winn and Ishikawa continue to really struggle. Aurilia might be getting more playing time if things don;t start to improve for Travis. The Freak is on the mound tomorrow so maybe the Giants will actually win one on the road.

Its 3-1 with most of the Cubs starters sitting. Lou threw in the towel today with Lincecum on the hill

3-2 after a Sean Marshall RBI single in the 5th. Why Lincecum threw him a changeup I'll never know.

6-2 now in the 8th thanks to Rowand hitting a bases loaded double scoring two and Winn with a RBI himself.

Lincecum gets the win and the Giants split the two games series. Off to Colorado we go to get two!
