    Giants Giants Fail To Sweep

The Giants had the perfect chance to sweep the DBacks and they blew it big time. Brian Wilson entered with a three run lead and could not get the job done. Matt Cain had another win taken off his record and its a shame because he has been our best pitcher so far this year. Cain has got to be pissed off at just how many games the bullpen has blow for him. Sad thing is Brian Wilson shouldn't even have been used if Manny Burriss wouldn't have been picked off in the top of the 9th. He gets picked off and Winn hits a double that would have scored the speedy Burriss but noooooo, he has to be an awful baserunner. Giants should have gotten a run in top of the 12 as well when Uribe hit a leadoff double. Winn comes up and grounds out to the pitcher instead of bunting the runner over, Renteria strikes out and Velez lined out to second. Uribe was never moved over and it was a ****ing awful display of baseball. Giants fall back down to a game under .500. Wilson has got to start getting ahead in the count and commanding his fastball. The only pitch he could throw for a strike was his slider but they kept going to the fastball. He falls behind way too much and that's why his ERA is so high. Sandoval did hit his first homerun of the year. Aurilia should be getting more starts as Ishikawa continues to struggle. Giants winning streak comes to an end but they did win the series and now head home to face the Dodgers who lost today.

    Re: Giants Fail To Sweep

Didn't get a chance to watch the game, heard it here and there, especially when I was driving and heard that Burriss got picked off, I was wow, and then found out we lost, our bullpen ****ed it up again for Cain. Pathetic! Let's use this momentum against LA!
