    Giants Giants@Los Angeles 4/13-4/16

The Giants are coming off a piss poor series against the Padres where they were outscored 19-7 in three games. The starting pitching was awful and the offense was worse. Lets hope they can turn things around against the hated Dodgers.

    Game One

Randy Johnson (0-1, 7.20 ERA) versus Chad Billingsley (1-0, 3.00 ERA)

Johnson is 8-6 against the Dodgers for his career with a solid 2.72 ERA in 23 games. Bad thing is Billingsley has never lost to the Giants going 3-0 with a 3.69 ERA. Randy Winn is 7-14 against Billingsley so hopefully he can set the table for the Giants. Giants need to end this three game losing streak today!

The Giants batters look terrible against Billinglsey with only Winn, Lewis and Rowand getting hits so far through three innings. None of the new guys (Renteria, Sandoval, Ishikawa, Burriss) have started to heat up the bats. RJ just gave up a solo shot to Orlando Hudson

Molina gets a leadoff double, Sandoval advances him to third and Ishikawa singles him in. Good baseball right there. 1-1

*********!! RJ gives up yet another HR to make it 2-1. All of the runs he has given up this season have been via the HR.

4-1 after a 2 out, 2 run single for Furcal RJ is 7 of 20 in first pitch strikes. Just terrible!

5-1 Dodgers after a Hudson double. Lewis failed to cut the ball off and it goes to the wall. Get this last out!!!

RJ loads the bases and is pulled for Valdez. He only lasted 3.2 IP. Our Giants starters are going to kill our bullpen before the end of April. Terrible showing from what is supposed to be our strength!!

Valdez comes in and gives up a two run single. Both runs charged to RJ.

Orlando Hudson just hit for the cycle and I am done watching this horseshit. Matt Cain, I am counting on you to stop the losing streak.

Giants got their asses stomped in but hopefully in game two it will be the other way around. Matt Cain looked great in his last outing so lets hope he can do it again Wednesday.

    Game Two

Matt Cain (1-0, 1.29 ERA) versus Clayton Kershaw (0-0, 1.80 ERA)

This should be a great matchup and hopefully the Giants hitters fare better than they did yesterday against Billingsley when they struck our 11 times. Sandoval needs to start being a little more patient and could take a lesson from the Dodgers' hitters yesterday when they worked deep into counts and fouled off pitches til they got that one mistake and punished Giants hitters.

Cain walks in a run to make it 1-0 after one. Cain needed 30 pitches to get out of the inning Looks like another short outing for Cain

Molina gets that run back by hitting a leadoff homer on a 3-2 count in the 2nd

Tough to follow up on what Billingsley did the night before, but Kershaw is doing it.

Giants blow the lead with the new and improved bullpen Howry blows the save and Wilson walks in the winning run with two outs. What a joke!! Molina and Rowand provide the offense via HR but that is all.
