    Giants DBacks@San Francisco

The Giants have been swept by the Padres and Dodgers in consecutive series and now face another division rival in the Diamondbacks. The team has looked nothing but pathetic ever since the Milwaukee series. Fred Lewis has looked like a little league in the OF and the starting pitching outside of Cain has been atrocious. The offense has to learn to be patient and cut down on the strikeouts.

    Game One

Dan Haren (0-2, 2.08 ERA) versus Jonathan Sanchez (0-1, 9.64 ERA)

The Giants won this series thanks to great pitching from the starters...finally. Sanchez pitched a beauty on Friday, Lincecum went eight scoreless until the bullpen lost it and RJ took a no hitter through six innings. The final score for all three games was 2-0 with the Giants taking two from the Dbacks. The offense is still terrible with Bochy moving pieces around but failing to get Molina out of the cleanup spot.
