    Giants Giants@San Diego 4/10-4/12

The Giants finally had a great start to the season taking 2 of 3 from the Brewers in the home opener and now head to San Diego (2-2).

    Game One

Barry Zito (10-17, 5.15 ERA in '08) versus Shawn Hill (1-5, 5.83 ERA in '08)

Zito has found success against the Padres going 3-2 with a 3.63 ERA in his career. We can only hope he keeps it up and starts the '09 season off right. Aurilia has had some success off Hill so it wouldn't shock me to see him start over Ishikawa at first.

Mujica has trouble finding the strike zone after the rain delay but manages to get out of the inning with only one base runner.

Scott Hairston robs Molina of a game tying HR.

    The Giants hate Hairston.

WOW! A terrible first inning from Zito. Who would have thought?

The Padres should bat Scott Hairston clean up whenever they face the Giants.

Padres should clone Hairston when they face the Giants and have nine of them.

The Giants were swept by the ****ing Padres for christ's sake Terrible series from the pitching staff and Lincecum struggled for the second straight game. He struggled towards the end of ST and it is carrying over big time. His velocity is down from last year and he is not hitting his spots. He best start pitching like he is able to or its going to be a long season for the Giants. All that said, Fred Lewis did not do Lincecum any favors. He was terrible yesterday defensively and cost Lincecum some ER.
