And Molina comes up empty. Giants did get a run, 4-2 in the 8th.

I missed most of the game. Outside of Gallardo's HR. How has Johnson's stuff been?

Johnson stuff was good except for those two mistakes to Gallardo and Cameron. He had five K's through 3 IP and finished with seven. He was topping out at 95/94 mph with the fastball.

Giants win and take the opening series! Cain with a great outing, 7 Ip, 2 bb, 5Ks, 1 er, the best part of his outing was his control, 91 pitches, 61 strikes, thats called getting it done!!!

Winn, Rowand, Sandoval, and Molina with 2 hits, each, Molina had 3 rbis, Lewis went 3-3. Nice win!

Joe Martinez took a shot on a comebacker that looked nasty. I know Cameron felt bad being in a similar situation with the horrific collision in the OF.

Molina actually drove in four but it was just nice to see Matt Cain get a win after a great performance. Nice to see him keep his commmand and get through the 7th. Our bullpen needed that!

Scary moment though when Mike Cameron nailed Joe Martinez in the head with a line drive. It hit him in the right forehead and he was bleeding quite a bit. I hope this doesn't affect him at this young age. Cameron and Molina were apparently shaking with emotion. Never want to see it so lets just hope Martinez can bounce back.
