3-2 Giants lead. Lincecum has like, 5 or 6Ks already. No fair.

First spring training homer for Chavvy. Yay. He's also been making some nice plays over at 3rd. He makes it look like he's never missed a day, much less half the season.

Damn 4-2 now. Ishikawa with the RBI.

    Cahill's at like 90 pitches.

And Rowand batted .190 all spring. But he said in an article that he wasn't concerned and he felt better than ever at the plate... guess the numbers will just take time to catch up?

I sure hope so. Ishikawa looks good this spring Cahill is young and will have his struggles but am looking forward to seeing him and Anderson.

Sandoval is a pure beast! he is 3-4 with 2 RBI. Ishikawa has had a great night too with 2 RBI. Lincecum struck out 8 in 5 2/3 and Valdez has turned in his 7th straight scoreless outing.

Interesting poll in today's paper... the question was "who was going to have the better season, the Giants or the A's?" and 28% voted for the Giants and 72% voted for the A's... I have an inky feeling that that may change...

    Re: 2009 Spring Training News

Perdomo will not make the team and could be sent back to the Cards if a trade is not worked out. I would like to see them make a trade but it isn't likely.

Brandon Medders did make the team as did Velez, Torres, Uribe and Aurilia. Why they felt the need to carry both Velez and Torres I will never know. Seems like a dumb idea.

Joe Martinez made the team as the long reliever.

Holm was designated to AAA and Sandoval will be our backup catcher.
