    Giants Lincecum Wins Two Pitching Awards

    Lincecum won two elections as the NL's top pitcher for 2008 in separate polls of Major League players announced Monday. The Giants right-hander was recognized by The Sporting News, which canvassed 314 players, and captured the Players Choice Award, determined through voting conducted in September by the accounting firm KPMG.
    This should be a good sign that Tim Lincecum will win the Cy Young Award. His peers have spoken and said Lincecum was the best so lets hope the writers do the same thing. Congrats to Tim on an amazing season and lets hope he goes for the sweep of awards.
