    Giants Giants@Houston

Interesting lineup for the Giants today. Winn is leading off with Lewis batting third. Ochoa is starting at SS with Burriss playing second and not doing well. He is now hitting .252 after a 0-3 night so far. Sanchez pitched tonight and did a good job striking out two and giving up two runs in seven innings. He lowered his ERA to 4.53 which is good because he had a run of bad starts there for a while. Giants are losing 3-1 in the 8th. Sadler just gave a HR.

Giants lost last night and are now losing 8-3 thanks to a Lance Berkman grand slam. The bullpen blows it again!! Lincecum had to leave the game with a 3-2 lead after being struck by a line drive in the back of the leg.

Giants were swept by the Stros. The offense is gone!! Maybe all the moves the Giants made will wake them up!

So the Giants had another game with the Stros. Now I can say they were swept. The Giants playued all the young guys that were just called up. Sandoval went 0-3 with a RBI, Ishikawa went 1-3 with a walk and Rohlinger went 0-4. Velez went 2-4 and raised his average to .217 Ochoa went 1-3. The Giants still need a lot of help in the offseason.

I was watching the game that Lincecum was pitching in at my hotel room. Bummer he had to leave. The news is that he'll most likely make his next start, which is good. But the newspapers back in the Bay Area must be pretty happy that the Olympics is going on. Not much fun to write about two hapless baseball teams.
