I updated Lincecum's numbers and he has actually made a better case for CY since I last updated them. He keeps on having better numbers and no media love.

14th win tonight, 8 IP, 0 er, 8K, 3 bb, and got his 200th K of the year!
Lincecum has a 2.48 ERA now and 200 K's. Where is the love???
Hilarious!!
I actually was on the Jim Rome show yesterday making a case for Lincecum. Ray Ratto from the SF Chronicle was hosting and not even he was giving Lincecum that much love.
Dude dont ****ing call Jim Rome, he's an idiot. Dont waste your time!
Technically I called Ray Ratto I do like Rome though. Better than Colin Cowherd.
You have to give Lincecum some attention as well as Brandon Webb:
Webb: 19-4, 2.74 ERA, 3 CG, 1 SHO, 184 IP, 153 K, 1.10 WHIP
Lincecum: 14-3, 2.48 ERA, 0 CG, 0 SHO, 177.2 IP, 200 K, 1.19 WHIP
Santana: 12-7, 2.64 ERA, 2 CG, 1 SHO, 184 IP, 153 K, 1.14 WHIP
Personally, my vote would go to Lincecum....although it very very close. The Mets' bullpen blew 6 games for Santana. If we assume they can close out only half of them(certainly they should be able to close at all, but let's assume 3), then he's 15-7 and right in contention. But, as of now, it's Lincecum and Webb dueling it out.
Interesting (and meaningless) Stat: Only 3 pitchers with 150+ IP have allowed FEWER stolen bases than Johan Santana. They are Nick Blackburn, Zach Greinke, and Mike Pelfrey.
Santana is having a great season and its amazing that with all the money he is making, he is under the radar. Hard to do in NY.
Normally, it's impossible to do. And it's not even like the team is doing badly enough to justify a lack of interest. It's incredible how nobody notices how well he's doing. In fact, many sports writers have bashed Santana for his W/L record, ignoring his other numbers(which is stupid). So, I mean, Lincecum's numbers are great, but there are plenty of guys getting slighted.
Lincecum faces the Rockies tonight and will once again try and stop a losing streak. Webb got his shit rocked last night so Lincecum needs a great outing to further "pad" his stats as Dirtykash would put it.
It doesn't matter what we think, what the statistics say, Webb is winning it this year if the writers vote based on the same criteria they seem to have done in years past.. If he hits the magic number of 20 wins and his team makes the playoff, assuming his ERA doesn't go much beyond 3.15.... it would be all but guaranteed then.

Lincecum has 8 K's in 5 IP!! He has only allowed one run and could get the loss. Score some ****ing runs!!
