    Giants Nationals@San Fran

Sorry but I forgot to make the thread earlier. Giants lead 3-0 and have two homeruns in the first!!! Lewis lead off the game with a homerun and Molina just crushed a two run shot. Zito has an early 3-0 lead against these Nats.

You've currently got a 5-3 lead now. Harris homered for the Nats, and Lo Duca got the other two RBI. And Molina added another homer, only this time it was a solo shot. But Zito's already at 111 pitches through six innings, so he'll be replaced by whoever it is warming up in the 'pen.

Well Zito was replaced, as I expected, but his replacement (Taschner) lasted 1/3 of an inning because he had control issues (17 total pitches, 7 total strikes. ouch). And then Romo came in and bailed him out, and Walker added a shutout inning. I'm assuming Wilson will close this one out...

Anyways you added an insurance run. Rowand singled home Winn to extend your lead to 6-3. It just may be a happy day for the Bay Area after all.

Wilson did come in to get the save, and he succeeded, earning his 26th save. Final score, 6-3, Giants win.

Zito gets the win!! Giants need a series like this to get things sorted out with Durham gone now.

Well you've got Correia going for you today...he'll be going up against Balester. If you guys can score some runs early, then you might have a chance to win this game...

I was having a great day until you mentioned Correia was on the hill. Beautiful weather today and I stayed out of the sun for much of the day and had a lot of business but nooooooooooooooo. Booo Brett!!! Giants need a sweep to get morale going in the clubhouse. Molina finally broke out last night after a mini-slump.

Molina stays hot and doubles in a run and Rowand follows that by doing the exact same thing. 2-0 in the first. Giants are striking early against these Nats!!

Correia gave that lead up quick. 3-3 after a Flores homerun. Nice year Flores has put up so far.

A few moves they made before the game. Holm is back, Alfonzo sent down and Ortmeier was activated from the DL and sent to Fresno.

    Uh, oopsie?

Well it's still 4-3, Nats lead going into the bottom of the ninth. You guys still have a chance.

OMG Rich Aurilla doubles home Burriss and Bowker, and then Vizquel doubled home Aurilla for a 6-3 lead. Now all you have to do is have Wilson save it for you guys.

Oh, and did you know that Dave Roberts is back? He entered the game as a pinch hitter in this inning (he flied out to left). But yeah he's back, which could make things very interesting...
