    Giants Giants First Half MVP

This couldn't have been easier to figure out. Well, maybe if Bonds was still playing but no doubt it is Tim "the Freak" Lincecum. Lincecum is 11-2 with a dominant 2.47 ERA and 144 strikeouts. He has won 11 of the Giants' 40 games and is an astounding 10-1 after a Giants loss. He is 8-1 away from home which is supposed to be a pitcher's haven. He doesn't need it. Lincecum leads MLB in strikeouts and tied for winning percentage. He is 4th in all of baseball in ERA. Tim is well on his way to winning a Cy Young award being the first Giants since Mike McCormick in 1967. The Freak is by far the Giants Most Valuable Player!!

I don't think his arm will fall off. The Giants did a great job last year of shutting him down. Did you get to read the Sports Illustrated article on Lincecum? Interesting stuff.
