    Giants Giants April MVP

This was a no brainer. Tim Lincecum is your winner. Lincecum went 4-1 with a 1.73 ERA and 40 K's in 36.1 IP. He was being compared to Steve Carlton who won 27 games for a team that only won 59 that year. Lincecum gave up just one homerun for the whole month. He has been our best and most consistent pitcher so far this season and doesn't look like he is slowing down anytime soon.

Runner up: Aaron Rowand. Aaron hit .326 with a .366 OBP with 2 HRs and 14 RBI. He has shown his toughness and grit by playing through rib injuries. He has shown so far that his contract has been worth it. In his first month being a Giant, he has become a clubhouse leader.

Honorable Mention: Brian Wilson. 9 saves and a 2.92 ERA.

It's been a surprising first month and May will hopefully go better.
