    Giants Giants@San Diego 4/23-4/24

The Giants are coming off a two game sweep by the best team in baseball the Arizona Diamondbacks. They also had to face to good pitchers in in Owings and Webb. The Giants had their chances against the Webb but didn't execute. They now face the Padres who the Giants already took a series from earlier this year. Once again the Giants avoid Peavy but do get Maddux who owns them. Hopefully the Giants can sweep and gets things turned around.

Game One- Matt Cain vs Greg Maddux. Cain is coming off an awful start where he gave up 9 ERs in just 3 2/3 innings. He has got to bounce back and get some sort of command on his pitches. The Giants have a terrible problem with getting ahead of hitters. Maddux is 29-14 with a 2.96 ERA lifetime against the Giants.

Game Two- Tim Lincecum vs Chris Young. Lincecum pitched a beauty his last time out going seven innings of shutout baseball and has been our best pitcher so far this year. He has 27 SOs in 23 IP. Young is struggling this year so hopefully the Giants can take advantage of that.

I can see a sweep if our two young aces do what they are capable of doing. Bochy has got to start trying to win games instead of just trying to give young guys playing time. There is a difference and it is too early to start giving up!

Giants blow a chance to score. How many times have I said that this year? Too ****ing many I know since this team doesn't know how to move runners or hit in certain situations. Rowand hits a leadoff double to start the second. Then what happens? Bowker comes up and pops up on the infield on a 2-0 count!! Then the next two batters ground out leaving Rowand at second. Terrible!!

Cain is already at 50 pitches in 3 IP

Rowand doubles again but this time with one out and now Bowker decides to pull the ball and advance the runner. Two innings too late there bro! Another wasted double for Rowand. Man he would look good in the cleanup spot

1-0 as Cain is starting to get hit. Four straight singles including one from Maddux. Why we can't get opposing pitchers out is beyond me. Thanks god Fred Lewis threw out Bard trying to stretch a single.

The Giants' doubles and stolen bases are being wasted tonight. Pop ups on the infield with RISP is unacceptable. 1-0 in the B-8th.

Molina homers!!! Tied up 1-1 in the top of the 9th!! Hoffman blows an other save!!! Molina is clutch, he just belongs in the five hole.

We're going to extras. Hopefully this doesn't go 22 innings.

BMo is one of my favorite players and as he came up I was thinking about all the ex-Pads and actually felt bad for them. My mistake. And then look what happened. Dumbass.

Once again the Giants fail to hit with RISP. The intentionally walked Lewis to get to Ortmeier and he doesn't come through. I just realized that Matt Cain was ****ed again today!! ******* I feel sorry for him. He is such a class act that he is never going to say anything but maybe he should.

WOW and WOW!! I am in utter disbelief and how terrible this team is fundamentally Holm gets a leadoff single and they **** it up. He gets thrown out at second! What is this team doing?? Giants don't deserve to win but of course I'll take it.

Giants get extremely lucky that a passed ball didn't cost us the game. Valdez got out of the jam and we head to the 12th.

They're lucky it was Adrian at third, he would have been thrown out if he ran.

Although the replay made it look like it was actually tipped off Crabbe's bat.

Throw Carney Lansford in with Bochy when he is fired!
