    Giants Cardinals@San Francisco

The Giants have won two in a row and just came off their first series win. Now they have to face the Central leading Cardinals lead by Pujols and Wainwright. Since the Giants have moved to SF, the Giants own a 312-308 record.

Game One- Adam Wainwright vs Kevin Correia. Correia didn't have a good first start but it wasn't the worst either. Correia gave up four runs in 6 IP and took the loss. He has got to be on his A game against guys like Ankiel, Pujols and Glaus. Wainwright had a great first start going 8 strong and giving up just two runs.

    Game Two
    - Kyle Lohse vs Barry Zito. Zito has had a terrible start but his velocity was up in his last game against the Brewers. Zito has got to do a better job of getting deeper into games while keeping the runs off the board. He has 10 IP in two starts. Lohse hasn't given up a run in two starts.

Game Three- Todd Wellemeyer vs Matt Cain. Cain has got to start acting like an ace. He has to start getting ahead of hitters and then make people chase outside the zone. His control is still a huge problem and he too has to get deeper into games. Wellemeyer has looked sharp this season giving up 3 runs over 12 IP. 13 K's also come with that.

Game Four- Brad Thompson vs Tim Lincecum. Lincecum is coming off a great start against the Padres. He had a nice outing to in relief in his first game of the year too. Lincecum has 11 K's in 10 IP this year. Thompson has given up 3 ERs in 10.1 IP.

LOL wrong again, you said the Padres would sweep us, we took 2 out of 3, now you say this, we already took game one.

Key stat. Lewis was 2-4 out of the leadoff spot. He leadoff the game with a double and scored on a Rowand single off second base. Correia looked damn good last night against a good offense and of course Hennessey gave up a run. Three in a row for the Giants!!!

I fear for the win streak as Zito "The Stopper of Win Streaks" goes tonight.

He has to win at least one game this year doesn't he? Hopefully the stars will align and Zito shows his Cy Young form, if for just one night.

Ed Wade's a horrible GM so the Astros could be a possibility

I don't care what uniform these guys wear as long as it's not a Giant uniform!

Zito was not all that bad last night. Giants lost 8-2 but Zito only gave up 1 ER in six innings of work. He looked like a solid #3 or #4. This is an improvement.

It was funny last night. I was at the bar when Pujols was coming up and I said "Excuse guys, I'm gonna go piss while Pujols hits this homerun. Sure enough he did. Three errors last night was pathetic.

The HR by Pujois was a laser shot. It was Bonds like from the right side.
