    Horacio Ramirez

The Mariners released Horacio Ramirez the other day and I think the Giants should take a chance on him. He's 28 and reaching those prime years. The Giants can never have too much pitching and if we take chances on guys like Russ Ortiz and Dustin Hermanson, why not Ramirez? The Giants could try and make him a long reliever and spot starter. He has battled injuries the past couple of seasons so a move to the bullpen could help. Kline can no longer be counted on as the lefthanded reliever. He is a left hander worth taking a chance on since he will come at a low price. I don't expect a miracle but I think Righetti can help him out.
