    Giants Giants@ L.A.

Giants just got swept by the Dbacks and should be in real seller mode now and the Dodgers are still just one game back of those Dbacks. Giants have a real opportunity to **** with the Dodgers and hopefully bring back something to this rivalry. We haven't seen any good drama between these two teams in forever. No fights, no brushbacks, no nothing. Maybe tonight will spark something but I doubt it since Correia is on the mound with his wonderful 5.71 ERA.

Giants pounding the Dodgers through five 7-0! Everyone has a hit except Molina and Correia even has two RBI. Our 9-1-2 hitters have a combined six RBI.

****in Kuroda. Not even having Shawn Estes on the mound for the Giants can help cut that deficit.

The Dodgers have fought back. It's now 7-6 Giants lead in the bottom of the eighth.

And in case you were wondering, Correia allowed all of the six runs (only four were earned though).

Hahaha Casey Blake was thrown out of the game for arguing balls and strikes following a strike out. Torre's still out there defending his 3B. And now Torre is ejected. Wow. This game is more exciting than I thought.

Giants hold on for the win. Correia gets the win, and Wilson gets his 28th save.

Correia and the Giants getting a win is the real shocker. Good job by the bullpen to stop the Dodgers momentum.

This was Correia's first win since April 10. True he did spend some time on the DL, but still you'd think he'd have had more wins than that.

You guys have Cain going for you today against a guy who doesn't have a record this season. Hopefully he'll keep you in the game and give your offense a chance to score some runs.

Well it's not entirely the Giants fault, Correia has had a hard time of keeping the team in the game. Then again the run support wasn't always there, so it goes both ways.

Yeah Correia has been plain awful since coming back from the DL. Between him and Misch, the Giants never won a start.

Well the Dodgers have a 2-0 lead over the Giants in the eighth. Cain's gone the whole way, pitching seven innings of two-run ball (only one earned). It's a shame that this start may go to waste...

Well the Giants lost 2-0. Cain's effort was in vain unfortunately. Hopefully you can take tomorrow's game (and the series...).

Of course Dirty would say Cain just padded his stats against the Dodgers. Great game for Cain and fo course another loss. He lowered his ERA to .370! Winn and Aurilia had good games which is nice to have right before the trading deadline.
