    Giants @ Arizona

Kevin Correia is going for his fourth win as a starter this year but he is facing last year Cy Young Award winner Brandon Webb. So far the Giants have gotten to him. It is 3-1 in the T-5. Winn, Feliz and Ortmeier have all driven in a run.

Correia pitched efficiently, 5 2/3 IP, 2er, 3h, 5bb, 6ks, lowered his ERA as a started to 1.98! Im-****ing-pressive, Winn, Ortmeir, and Molina all went 2-4, Feliz had a HR with 3 rbis, Winn also homered and had 4rbis.

Something is not right with Messenger, this is his second outing in a row without getting a batter out. Giants to AZ bullpen in 8th and scored 5 runs to get this win.

Messenger needs to be shut down for the year. No use in making it worse. Let him start off fresh next year in ST.

9/18- Giants lose 5-0 and lose Jonathan Sanchez for the rest of the year. Sanchez strained his oblique. The bullpen did well after Sanchez's runs all came in.

9/19- Giants lose again 6-4. Davis went 3-4 but was picked off and caught stealing. Frandsen went 3-5 with a RBI and a stolen base. Winn was 2-4 with 3 RBI and homered for the second time this series and 12th overall. Zito was roughed up for the first time in six starts. He lasted 4 innings and gave up five runs.
