Zito has been great this month but it could have been helpful in April, May, June and July. Let's hope we can take this as a sign that Zito is starting to figure out the NL and expect better things next season. Frandsen can hit and wish we could somehow clear a spot for next year but we are stuck with Durham another year. Great win and let's keep rolling.

Damm, I thought we picked up Durham's option for this year only?

Nope two year deal. He was a FA and out of options. Sabean has ****ed us for a while but things are looking good with guys like Lowry, Cain, Lincecum, Rajai Davis, Schierholtz, Lewis, Ortmier, etc.

Shit, if we DA him, we have to pay him for the remainder of his contract?

Not sure how that works but I'm sure there is a buy out clause. What I do know is that Vinnie Chulk went on the 15 day DL with a blood clot in his arm. Our old friend and SF native Tyler Walker has been called up. What has it all come to?

I actually liked Walker, hope he got his shit straight, but man ever since Nen retired, we been cursed for a closer or something, Nathan, Accardo, who else am I missing another closer who was in the Giants system?

We have had Worrell, Benitez, Stanton and now Hennessey since Nen with some odd balls trying to close this year

No no, I meant the ones who we have traded. Also you forgot Hermanson, ala 04 walk-off grand slam against LA

How could I have forgotten Hermanson Giants won again 3-1 as Molina had another fantastic game. Molina went 3-4 with a RBI and homerun #14. Cain pitched a beauty (no shock) and got just his 7th win of the year. Winn went 2-3 with 2 RBI and Frandsen went 2-2.

Giants get rocked today to end the winning streak. Lowry gave up seven runs in just three innings pitched. That was his first MLB loss in August. Pretty impressive. The bullpen looked good and Davis went 2-4.

San Francisco relievers have lost a league-high 26 games. I just found it in an article.

Maybe TJ surgery should be mandatory for your whole bullpen
