    Pirates @ Giants 8/10-8/12

Game 1- Ortiz pitched solid, 5 ip 2er, then with a 6-2 lead in the 8th, our bullpen ****ed up again! allowing 6 ****ing runs! Jonathan Sanchez needs to get sent down to get his shit straight! Giants lose 8-7.

Giants have lost four in a row now as the Pirates once again handed them their asses. Zito loses again but wasn't all that bad today. Giants offense was shut down. Pretty sad when the Pirates kick your ass!

Giants optioned LHP Jonathan Sanchez to Triple-A Fresno.
Sanchez gave up 10 runs in his last five appearances, including four without recording an out on Friday. He'll be back once he gets turned around.

Giants recalled RHP Brian Wilson from Triple-A Fresno.
Wilson had a 2.10 ERA for Fresno, but that came with 24 walks in 34 1/3 innings. While the Giants were hoping he'd be their closer by now, there's still little reason to think he's ready to aid the pen.
Looks like you got your wish Giantsfan. It was the right move here. What has happened to Sanchez? He needs to get things figured out before the September call ups. Wilson needs to live up to being our supposed future closer.

It is heart breaking to see Cain pitch this year. 7 IP and 3 ER's and gets another loss. The Giants managed to get 3 hits to try and provide offense for Cain. It is just painful! Giants won the second game 10-3 as Lowry pitches a gem. Rajai Davis continues to impress going 2-4 with two stolen bases and stretch a single into a double. Klesko hits a GS and Ortmeier hits a homer.
