Cain pitches really well and the Giants bullpen cant help him out, get use to it now. Cain went 7 1/3 IP and allowed 2 er, Giants were up 5-2 in the 8th when Chulk served a game tying HR to Hairston and in he bottom of 10th Taschner does the same to Hairston once again. Giants lose 6-5

Where are you getting those 4 phantom runs? (2 for each team)

The Giants were up 3-0 when Hairston hit the game tying home run, and then the Padres won 4-3 on a walk off by Hairston

Giants lose another one in late innings and Bonds ties the record. Misch pitched very well getting 8 K's in 5 IP with no walks! Messenger is really stinking up the joint lately.

Why is Zito coming on in relief?

Zito was in because the bullpen has been overworked and it was Zito's throwing day anyway. That and he makes a shitload of money to do whatever they want him to. Giants get swept and this was a terrible series for the Giants. They should have won two but came up empty in one run games. Lowry left after three innings with tightness in is forearm.
