    Giants @ New York

Game 1 should be a good one with Lincecum (2-0, 3.08 ERA) facing off against Oliver Perez (6-3, 2.54 ERA) who has resurrected his career this season. Lincecum will try his best to get the Giants back to .500.

Game 2 will feature a battle of the lefties. Zito (4-5, 4.70 ERA) will try and outduel Tom Glavine (5-2, 3.39 ERA). Glavine has already beat the Giants this year going seven strong giving up just one run. Bonds is hitting .329 with four homers off of Glavine.

Game 3 will have the unluckiest pitcher this year in Matt Cain (2-4, 3.23 ERA) going against Orlando Hernandez (2-1, 2.13 ERA). Cain gave up four runs in seven innings against the Mets earlier this season.

Giants played the Mets well this season and hopefully can take 2 of 3 and get back in the West.

Winn and Molina homered in the 1st inning! 2-0 Giants in the 2nd inning!

Delgado hits a two run blast for the first hit for the Mets. 2-2 in the 5th.

Winn went 2-6 with hr, 2rbi, run, Molina and Ortmeier each had homeruns, Lincecum pitched solid for us, 7ip, 3er, 3bb, 3h, 8k, Omar Vizquel made one of the greatest plays from the SS position, bottom of 9th, Franco, runners on 1st and 2nd, with 2 outs, Franco hits a sharp ball up the middle, before Vizquel dove and tossed it to Frandsen who was covering 2nd and caught it with his bare hand! Giants lose the Game 5-4 in 12 innings, Benitez balked home Reyes to the tie the game, then Delgado hit a walk off homerun, his 2nd of the night!

Ugh...no ****in way the Mets should have won that game.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Talk about one of the worst performances by a closer this year. Benitez walks Reyes, balks, batter sacrifices Reyes over to third and then balks in the tying run with 2 outs in the ****ing 12th!!!! Next pitch, GAME OVER!!! Giants need to be looking for ways to improve this bullpen. This team has been getting the starting pitching and the record should be a lot better than it is. Pathetic showing last night!!!

Zito earned some of that paycheck last night going 7 IP with 7 K's. He threw 122 pitches which is a lot for just seven innings but he only walked one. Aurilia went 4-4 to raise his average to .242. Feliz drove in three runs as he went 2-4. The bullpen amazingly went two innings without giving up a run. Taschner looked really sharp and Hennessey was Hennessey. Giants win 4-0!!!
