    Giants @ Los Angeles

Matt Morris (2-0, 2.00 ERA) will be trying to make it six in a row while battling Derek Lowe (2-2, 4.56 ERA). Morris has been brilliant so far this season. The Dodgers sit on top of the NL West and all of baseball by having the best record. Bonds who has homers in two consecutive games is hitless against Lowe

In game two the stage is set for a battle of lefties Noah Lowry (1-2, 2.70 ERA) against Randy Wolf (3-1, 3.38 ERA). Wolf has already beaten the Giants once this year while Lowry has yet to face the Dodgers. Bonds is hitting a lousy .176 against Wolf with one homerun but Feliz has a .375 average and two homers for his career againts Wolf.

Game three has Russ Ortiz (2-1, 4.35 ERA) facing Brad Penny (3-0, 1.37 ERA). Penny has been just outstanding so far this year. Ortiz has been good at keeping us in the game but is really starting to look over his shoulder as Lincecum continues to mow down guys in AAA. Bonds has three career homers against Penny in twenty-three ABs.

We need to be more aggressive against Lowe, because if he gets his Sinker ball working, then were pretty much ****ed.

Giants have scored a run in each of the first two innings. Aurilia has a RBI groundout and Winn has a RBI double. Winn has got to step his game up!

How in the heck does a major league pitcher serve up a home run to Dave Roberts?

Giants are up 4-0 going into the bottom of the first. Bonds hit his 7th of the year for a three run bomb and Aurilia sinlged in a run before that.

Wolf didn't pitch that badly, aside from the 4-run first inning by the Giants. We just have to tip our caps to Bondsie for the 3-run jack.

Wolf came back and struck out Bonds twice. Bonds tied Pete Rose for 5th all-time in runs scored with that blast. 7 in a row and our starting pitching continues to be solid. Good things as we go for the sweep.

Giants win 5-4, LA got an early lead 3-0 durring the 1st 2 innings, Giants came back with a Roberts RBI single in the 3rd, Durham and Molina added rbi singles in the 6th after a Bond IBB to tie the game up at 3-3, Durham and Molina hit rbi singles again in 8th! To take the lead 5-3! Ortiz was ok, not good, not bad, but just ok IMO, 5 1/3 ip, 8 h, 3 er, 1 bb, 3k. Benitez got his 7th save of the year. 8 in a row for us!

Giants sweep and now go to AZ to try and get on top of the NL West. Great win. Ortiz yet again kept us in the ballgame which is pretty much all we ask of him. He isn't ever going to dominate a game.
