Game one Russ Ortiz pitched great for the 1st 8th inning, allowing 2 runs, except in the 9th while he was out there a little too long and allowed a 3 run HR. Bonds was vintage Bonds, 3-3, 2 hrs, 4 rbis, 2 runs, our offense woke up finally! scoring 7 runs in the 1st 2 innings! Ortiz also had a 2 run bases loaded double in the 1st inning.

Great win, we definetly needed it.

Bonds needs to get going and this offense will follow. It's hard to drive in runs when Vizquel and Roberts do not get on base.
