    Giants Giants @ San Diego 4/9 - 4/11

Game 1 will feature Matt Cain battling against Chris Young. Cain needs to step it up as this team is having its worst start since 1980. Aurilia and Durham are the only guys showing consistency. Linden and Klesko are doing well when they get their chances. Giants need to start clicking on all cylinders.

    Game 2- Morris 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA vs. Hensley 0-1 with a 9.64 ERA
    Game 3- Lowry 0-1 with a 1.29 ERA vs Maddux 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA

I agree man, we need to atleast take 2 out of 3, or a sweep, or else this season might get ugly real fast!

Cain owns the Padres in his short career so let's hope he can get it done tonight.

Cain took a no hitter into the 7th, but had a high pitch count.

I just got done watching the game due to my computer crashing last night and what a fantastic game!! The only way it could have been better is if the Giants would have actually won. In no way was I disappointed but Cain probably was. I hope Cain and Young get to face each other again this year. It wouldn't be so bad if the Giants weren't losing all their games to teams in their division, but this is a terrible start.

Now my mlb.tv isn't working Klesko stirkes out with runners on second and third and no outs. Giants have to get those runs in especially when one of the runners was given. Aurilia is batting third and Bonds cleanup tonight.

Molina singles to score Bonds. 1-0 as Molina stays consistent. More importantly. Morris got out of the first.

The Padres defense forgot to show up today.

First Marcus Giles bobbles a routine grounder to allow Bonds on base
Then Cameron loses a routine fly in the lights and lets Durham on 2nd (Bonds to 3rd)

Then, after Klesko's K and Molina's RBI, Clay gets a ball right to him and could've had Durham by a mile at home...but threw it to first instead.

Just wanted to say, nice work by Cain last night. And way to get out on the early lead onight as well. This will be a good matchup all season between these two teams.

The home run? Yeah, I had the same reaction.

Giants win it anyways. Good game.

Shitty defense ended up doing us in.

Goddamn our bullpen is scary. Morris has both the Giants win after the offense finally woke up. Klesko with great hustle helped out. Good win but the Giants must do better.
