That's nice. But I still shouldn't be expected to know anything and everything that was going on in the 70s and early 80s.

I'm a baseball fan, not a drug fan.

I pay more attention to the standings and the games themselves.

Blah, blah blah. Point is that it is well known and you should have known better and that I couldn't believe you among others didn't know what amphetamines were. Common knowledge at thispoint. If you can't handle that, tough shit!

IMO, either way, "IF" Bonds did or did not take the drugs or 'roids. He is willing to blame others for his mistakes. IMO, he is not going to be trusted in the locker room/club house whatever. People try defend him about being a good teammate. I still disagree. With an ego the "big" how could you be. (i,.e. T.O.). He is self-centered and it is difficult to bond with others when you are focused only on yourself.

One thing that I "failed" to mention was in general, I have never been a Bonds fan. This particular opinion has nothing to do about his drug/roid scandal. I just feel that Bonds only cares about himself. Just the way he has been portrayed, I may be wrong. But there have been many instances in his career to prove me correct.

Well if he never "blamed" Sweeney, then why the publis statement and apology. Either way, I still think he is a MAJOR distraction to his teammates.

I have been a Bonds fan an have supported him for the last few years with his problems with roids and speed but now that he has become the definition of BAD teammate I no longer support him. It is time for him to retire and there is no time like the present.

    RETIRE BARRY, RETIRE NOW!!!

He tested positive for Amphetamines. Major League Baseball has verified that. Gene Orza has verified that.

He is now guilty of a felony. Regardless of how many others do it, it is a felony.

Now they have more evidence of his inclination to ingest illegal drugs and it lays more weight on the side of the argument that he took steroids.

Barry is a cheater and the epitome of a non team player. On most teams you would say he is a cancer that needs to be excised.

I truly hope that the Giants sign him for 2007 because that will preclude their having any chance to win the West.

Do it for the good of baseball and the good of your team.

Oh wait, you never cared about either.
