    Giants Looking At Molina

    http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...PGQ6MN9MF1.DTL

With Mike Matheny a longshot to overcome his post-concussion syndrome and play in 2007, major-league sources said the Giants are in serious negotiations to sign free-agent catcher Bengie Molina, a 32-year-old who played for Toronto in 2006 after seven seasons with the Angels.
I would really like this move. He has pop in his bat and still is good defensively. I would go with a two year deal with an option. Him splitting time with Alfonzo will give us close to 30 homers from the position if Alfonzo can even come close to last year's numbers.

It also says that the Giants will not offer arbitration to Bonds.
