Well if you go today have a great time! Why isn't Bonds playing? Last night they said he would be.
That's what the Game Preview said Bonds, Durham and Niekro won't be playing today.
Well, why not give all the starters a day off?
In the first game Cain did what he has been doing for the past three starts and that's giving it to the bullpen too early. Good thing the bullpen prevailed and Niekro had a noce game. Too bad he's the ****ing tin man and can't stay healthy.
Morris pitched another good game or at least good enough to win. Morris has done well lately but can't get an offense behind him. He is starting to come around!
Again I agree but what about all these players getting time off at the same time?
If they are hurt, they do no one any good!
Giants are getting a challenge against Ian Snell. Lowry is pitching well too but made two mistakes. Pitchers should never lose on solo shots and if the Giants don't score, that is exactly what is going to happen. 2-0 in the top of the 8th.
Well those to mistakes did come back to haunt Lowry as the Giants lose 2-0. Snell pitched a better game and this is a game you just have to tip your cap and go back out there tomorrow to tie the series up. We out hit the Bucs but couldn't do anything with them. Feliz came up in the 9th as the tying-run but of course he tried to pull the pitch and popped out to 2nd! We need to get him his own personal hitting coach!
Lets hope the Giants can win Sundays game and make it a split with the Pirates! I can not believe we have to hope for a split with the Pirates!
Jason Schmidt (6-2, 2.53 ERA) is coming off a career-high 16 strikeouts in his last start against the Marlins. The Giants' ace will make the start in Sunday's series finale against Maholm (2-5, 4.57 ERA).
This could be a good time to get Schmidt some rest by coming out and pounding Maholm early.
That's just ducky...we lose 2 of 3 to the Pirates. That just not right.
Lance Niekro (groin) was medically cleared to play in Saturday's game, but the first baseman sat out.
The Giants will likely continue to be cautious with the injury-prone Niekro. He should be in the starting lineup on Sunday.
Oh, we're saved. Niekro is BACK!
Hey you think we can salavage the last game agaisnt one of the worst teams in baseball? Crap.
