    Frankly I don't think the Giants will make any moves unless they are in this thing at the trade deadline. We have a ways to go. They seem to be playing better at the moment but that changes on a daily basis. I mean .500 is just what it is -- you win a few, you lose a few.

    Yeah, it's just the way things go in baseball. These guys (owners) have so much invested they don't want to go "over budget" unless they thing there is a Pot of Gold at the other end -- like winning something for a change.
