Haren was great tonight, nice to see him put together two sweet starts in a row.

Giants loose 1-0. Lowry Pitched very well and Dan Haren pitched better. All we can do is tip our hats and move on to the next game. Bonds did not look goo tonight. Maybe he will not DH anymore.

Why would he not DH? Giants don't have to take him out of the game for a late-inning substitution that way. He gets more at-bats.

What I was trying to say ( and I am out of it tonight) is He may not want to DH anymore just like he won't play first, does not want to hit third, etc. At this point for Bonds its all about Barry! Sad but true.

He'll have tons of games to play left field! Tons! This DH thing is just for the weekend! Bonds knows this for sure and so does Felipe Alou! I will wager that Bonds prefers to be DHing! No question about it!

I am sure he does, but if he did not he would not!

And to all a good night! The Bear heads for his Den!

This is what I have been saying since Spring training. I'm just not sure how much long Barry can carry this type of pressure. Frankly I don't know if it's worth it.

I am finally coming around to that point of view.
