    Giants @ Houston

Brad Hennessey (2-1 3.08 ERA) vs Taylor Buchholz (2-2, 3.82 ERA)

Bonds needs to quit trying to swing for the fences and just hit line drives. He is pressing way too hard right now and it is hurting the team. Buchholz is looking pretty damn good so far this year but did get hit hard his last start.

In addition to all the other factors about this game, this is a very important game for Hennessey as he tries to get back into the rotation. Lets hope he as a big game!

Pedro Feliz with a four-run grand slam off Taylor Buchholz.

    8-0 Giants, third inning.

Hah. Bonds doesn't even leave the batter's box when he pops out in the 6th inning.

Dude can barely walk. He's a liability in LF. This is why I say he'll retire at the end of the season. I think Barry has had it. Sure he wants to pass Babe Ruth but I think that will be enough for Barry. He's tired of all the BS. He's broken down and it doesn't appear to be getting better to me.

Hennessey has been imoressive this year. Only Schimdt and Hennessey have been worth a shit on the Giants pitching staff. Morris and Cain have sucked hard and when either pitches half decent the rest of the team falls apart. WTF? Read this carefully: Morris has a 6.20 ERA. Cain is at 7.20.

There's no good reason to put Cain back into the rotation and take Hennessey out. There's just not. Hennessey has to stay, but Felipe Alou is probably too stupid to figure this out.

Man you guys want it all. Cain, Morris and the rest of the rotation will be fine. Hennessey is also in the mix. The starters are not the problem. The problem is Bonds and the pressure he is under. He will NOT retire this season and I feel will be a DH in the AL next year. JMO

Great game tonight! Lets hope they continue this the next game and gain some MO.

    GO GIANTS!!!

The main problem is the bullpen! Bonds settled down tonight and pulled a laser to RF for a RBI double. Feliz comes through with the bases loaded and drove a 96mph fastball, letter-high into the LF seats. Winn set the tone with a leadoff homer. He was doing that last year when the Giants made their run, setting the tone.
Hennessey should remain in the rotation. Giants could possibly dangle Wright out there for some bullpen help or just simply put Wright in the bullpen. Wright has looked ten times better than he did in Colorado. He hasn't been that consistent but has looked good overall. He is second on the team in IP.

When was the last time anyone remembers a staff going through a season without injury? There will be enough innings for all these guys. You never have enough starting pitching!!!

And it's not as easy as acquiring more relief help. All teams are in the same boat. You never have enough "pitching" period!

There three problem areas: 1.) Hitting or a regular basis. 2.) Relief pitching. 3.) Bonds problems. When they take care one of these areas things will look alot better.Take care of all three who knows!
