    Giants Giants go to Milwaukee

Gaints ask Schmidt to end slide...story

Giants have to get their act together. The Giants pitching is dead last in the NL with an ERA of 5.27. That won't cut it.

Giants are 6th in the NL is starter's ERA. Its the bullpen ERA that is killing us as we are dead last in that category.

Killing us is right. Any way you slice it the pitching isn't holding up unless we expect the starters to throw complete games every outing. Even then we'd still be .500. Oy vey!

So what's going to happen now?

    Bonds is at 712.

The Giants are on the road for for of games followed by a seven game home stand.

Do they sit Bonds if he reaches 714 and let him break the record at home?

BTW, Giants up 2-0 top of 6 on the strength of a Feliz 2 run homer.

Schmidt gets the complete game shutout.

    Gaints win 2-0.

Nice effrort. Schmidt stepped up when the Gaints needed him in a bad way.

Scmhidt pitched great in two straight starts which is a relief. He had 7 strikeouts and no walks.

Bonds doesn't wait to go home just to hit homeruns. Bonds wants to win games.

Giants lost today 7-4. They split with Milwaukee and now head to Philly where Barry will get booed out of his mind. Alou is still piping hot with the bat!

    Bear MIA?

Where is Bear? I think he is galavanting around Italy and our beloved Giants are stinking up the joint.

He has some explaining to do about our lousy pitching stitatuiion. This is going from bad to worse!

Giants fans, I have a reason for you to be happy. The Dodgers should lose again tonight with Chris Capuano on the hill for the Brew Crew.

Pitching will get better once Lowry comes back. He's a left handed starter and something we haven't had all year except for Fassero. Once Lowry comes back someone will be sent elsewhere, possibly Fassero so we can make room for Hennessey. Actually it depends on how Wright pitches this Saturday against the Phillies. If he does well then Hennessey will go to the pen.

Our offense has been a big problem of late. Winn is not having a good May and Niekro is just falt out sucking balls. Alou and Vizquel is our only source of consistency. Finley is doing well off the bench as well. Matheny has been no good offensively and Feliz is Feliz. This all comes back to Felipe's way of managing which I have hated since he came over. Stick with a lineup for a while asshole would ya please!?! If I see Niekro bat third in front of Bonds again, I might have to kill someone!! Niekro is in no way a #3 hitter. We have to give guys rest and I understand that will **** with the lineup but for 5 days of the week these guys should stay in the same order.

Giants pitcher Noah Lowry is expected to come off the disabled list and start against the Astros on Monday. He's made only one start this season due to a right oblique strain, but he worked six innings in a Triple-A rehab stint on Wednesday. Brad Hennessey will move to a long relief role when Lowry rejoins the rotation, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Brad Hennessey is arguably our most consistent starter.
