Bonds went 2-4 with four RBI. The guy is back in and will conitinue to do well as long as Alou keeps it up. Alou went 3-4 and hit his 6th homer of they year. He too had four RBI. Kevin Frandsen went 3-4 in his MLB debut and scored three times. This is our future second baseman and what a way to start. Durham is on the 15 day DL. Winn went 2-5 with a RBI and is starting to get out his his slump.

Schmidt pitched like the Schmidt of old. He struckout nine and allowed just five hits. More importantly, he only walked two. That is huge since that has been his problem this year. His last pitch reached 94 mph on the gun which tells me his arm is getting stronger.

Alou hit yet another homerun and this time it was a game winner. This guy is mashing the ball and doing what we all wanted to see last year with Bonds in the lineup. The walkoff homer would not have been possible without Randy Winn robbing Eric Byrnes of a homer in the 9th. Hennessey pitched great and the bullpen did not give up a run. Giants win the game and the series.

6-0 now as this game is pretty much out of reach. Webb is still pitching great we aren't hitting him. We have just one hit on the day.

8-1 now and Fassero couldn't stop the bleeding. He could be the next one gone as the Giants will need to keep a spot for Hennessey.

Matt Cain gets another loss after showing what he could really do in his last start. Estrada went 4-4 with 4 RBI and just flat out beat us! We won the series and fall two games out of the first place Rockies.

    Man, that was ugly.

Cain is really not getting the job done. Kinda disappointing to this point in the season.

Bonds with 25 walks so far. That's sick.

Bonds also passes Ruth for third all time in extra base hits.
