Giants Mets vs Giants -- tonight

The Giants come home to face the Mets tonight. Big series IMO.

    Galvine vs Matt Cain.

Giants better get their shit together. Pitching has been very disapointing. Hitting seems to have picked up the last week but still we have like only 4 guys hitting over .250...that's not cool.

Cain has not looked good at all this season and he is not getting ahead of batters. This is a true test for the Giants as the Mets are one of the best in the NL right now. Glavine has been nails this year. Niekro needs to have a good night against the lefty and we need to play good defense. We can't afford to give this team anything.

3-0 after a three run shot in the first from Alou. Glavine intentionally walked Bonds and Alou made him pay for it. I love how people keep saying Bonds can't hit when all the scouts and managers think otherwise. Leave for the pros assholes!

Way to go dickhead! Now its over! J/k as I don't believe in superstitions. Cain is finally getting ahead of hitters and throwing strikes. He has good stuff but right now I don't think he thinks he believes it. Well not right now or else he wouldn't have a perfet game. Matheny needs credit as well.

Most impressive stat of the night might be that Feliz actually walked.

I love it when walking Bonds backfires. Nice 3 run dinger by Alou!

I fell asleep right when Cain went out so I didn't get to see the bullpen. I did get to see Cain and that's what I have been waiting for and that's him pitching and not just trying to strike out everyone. No walks and just five hits given up by Cain is what blew me away. He was ahaead of almost every hitter. Alou did what we were dying to see last year and that's protect Bonds. Vizcaino played good defense at second and saved a run. Good game against a good pitcher and a good team.

More importantly Bonds' two homers were both to the opposite field. We all know he has been turning on the ball. He is making the adjustments and going with the pitch. Dangerous!
