Benitez is back as he was activated from the DL. Lowry threw a 11 minute bullpen session and felt no pain.

A day after making his Major League debut with two scoreless innings, right-hander Brian Wilson will spend at least 15 days on the disabled list with a left oblique strain. Alou announced the move after Monday's game. Right-hander Jeremy Accardo was recalled from Triple-A Fresno to take Wilson's spot. Boy, that was worth it.

Lowry is expected to throw to hitters today.

Durham and Sweeney are experiencing hamstring issues.

The Devil Rays are reportedly interested in acquiring Tyler Walker, who was designated for assignment by the Giants.
Tampa Bay is just looking for decent arms to fill out the bullpen at this point, and Walker at least had some success last season.

Someone should pick him up and who other than the DRays to get him. They need pitching so damn badly. Hopefully Walker would not disappoint.

Alou will miss four to six weeks with a sprained ankle. I have heard of some pussy shit in my life nut it doesn't take that long to get over a sprained ankle.

Adam Shabala is hitting .345 with a .496 OBP in 113 ABs. He has a team leading 12 doubles for Fresno.

Patrick Misch is 3-0 with a .84 ERA in 43 innings of work. He has 38 strikeouts in those 43 innings and just 9 walks. Looks like some serious control. His WHIP is .94.

Jonathan Sanchez has 39 strikeouts in just 27 innings of workand only 8 walks. He has a save and has not been homered on. Misch and Sanchez are both in AA.
