    Giants@Arizona Game 1

    Jeff Fassero VS Miguel Batista
    (1-0 6.23 ERA) (1-0 2.84 ERA)

Batista is 4-6 with a 3.83 ERA over 21 lifetime starts vs. the Giants.

I wonder how Alou will go about a lineup today. Bonds might need to move to third in the order to stir things up.

Yes I wonder. I wish Alou would stop messing with the lineup and resting guys in the first month of the season.

Also, what promoted bringing Hennessey upo rom Fresno?

    I expected that.

Randy is on fire. Batting .349! Wonderful.

Jeez. Giants strand two in the top of the 4th, despite two wild pitches from Batista. Pedro Feliz struck out with 1 out, only needed a sac fly and he couldn't do it.

Wow ... Mark Sweeney with a two-run HR to tie the game at 9-9. Top 8th inning.

Bonds intentionally walked. That's his second today. And he's immediately pinch-run for.

Kline gets the job done in the 8th. Still tied 9-9 with Durham, Feliz and Matheny due up.

Durham walks and the leadoff man is aboard. Too bad Feliz is up.
