I question Alou's lineup? Bonds out (OK) M. Alou (?) Omar Vizquel (?) & Mike Matheny (OK) second game of a double header and he has caught the first. But to rest 4 at one time, I think is crazy. I am unhappy!! Why give the game away, and this is the second time he has done this to Cain. It may be time to start thinking about a new manager? We need to win these early games and not give them away! JMO

I even understand Mike Matheny because that is a difficult position and thats why you carry 2 catchers but not FOUR regulars at one time. Set up a rotation like any other thinking manager. Soon I will be called the new Larry Kruger for my thoughts about F. Alou!

Just a couple of thoughts about the games yesterday.
Bonds hit the ball hard three times yesterday but I was disturbed by the fact he hit two on the warning track when last year those suckers were long gone. He finally got him a RBI as he smoked one right off the bottom of the right field wall. A hit when it counted is going to be good for him getting on track.

Morris was sharp as hell but should have been taken out after the 7th. 2-0 for Morris

Winn had a good day going 4-7.

Tachner who I had hopes for needs to work on things at AAA. His pitches have been flat as Sandra Bullock's chest.

Correia with the walks is hurting.

I'm really impressed with Winn. He's getting things started early. That is never a bad thing. Yeah Barry is hitting the ball hard I suppose and it's only a matter of time until he's a big problem for the opposing pitchers. At this point they're starting to think they can pitch to the man. That's good for us.
