Giants Win Game One with Second Game to Start at 6:05pm

Matt Morris won his second game as a Giant 5-3 over the Astro's. M.Alou hit his 300 HR. All in all a very good game. So now its on to Game Two.

LETS PLAY TWO & WIN TWO!!!

Kid... I think it is ok if you only have one game to go. We will see. If they don't win game two I will not do it again.

    GO GIANTS, WIN TWO!!!

In the old days we had half hour tops between games. This one doesn't start until 6:05 PDT.

    Buncha pussies.

Yeah. I don't get why they don't start the next one as soon as possible. Why wait three hours?

HELLO!!! YOU'VE BEEN RAINED OUT TWO DAYS IN A ROW! What if, after your three hour wait, it starts raining again? I don't get it.

Not only that, but this is supposed to be a getaway day for both teams. SF has to hop on a plane down to LA, and Houston has to travel to Arizona.

Bud Selig probably suggested the longer interval between game.

Cain retires the Astros 1-2-3 in the first.

    GO GIANTS!

Only to have Steve Finley kill any hope by grounding into a double play.

Ensberg with a double to left field off Cain. Ouch. Heart of the order coming up in Preston Wilson and Jason Lane.
