not if it's a day-night doubleheader
not if it's a day-night doubleheader
you're tix to last nights game wont get you a seat to the night game of the double header......they will clear the ballpark, or try too at least....lol
oh ok thankx for clearing that up padresfanforever
another question, is there a reason why they schedulded in July, instead of having a double header today?
Uncertainty about the weather!
Weather is one issue..........however July 1st is a Saturday, which means more fans in the seats for both games.......
I see thankx
Is it possible that todays game migh be postponed as well do to weather? Not saying I want that to happen lol, just curious, since it is raining right now over here.
Of course it could be.......but I think the rain is supposed to subside enough to be able to get the game in......
Official reply that I just got from the Padres as a season tix holder......FYI
APRIL 4 POSTPONED GAME INFORMATION
As a result of the April 4, 2006 Padres game being postponed due to rain and subsequent rescheduling of the game to Saturday, July 1, at 12:05 p.m., your Season Tickets (also an official rain check) will be honored for the same seats for the new game. Please present your rain check for admission on that new date and time.
Please note: Your ticket for the July 1, 12:05 p.m. game will not be valid for the 7:05 p.m. game later that evening.
If you are unable to attend the Saturday, July 1, 12:05 p.m. game, you may exchange your tickets prior to the rescheduled date at the Advance Ticket Windows at PETCO Park for any of the remaining regularly scheduled home games (subject to availability). Tickets submitted after Saturday, July 1, 2006 may only be used for one of our Unused Season Ticket Nights.
You may also wish to consider donating your tickets to the Padres Foundation for Children before Saturday, July 1, at 12:05 p.m., allowing disadvantaged youths an opportunity to attend a Padres game.
If you used a pre-purchased or Padres-issued parking pass (torn upon entering lot with patron keeping the top portion of the pass) on April 4, Ace Parking will recognize that pass for the rescheduled game or for any future 2006 Padres game (space based on availability).
If you have any further questions, please contact a Ticket Services staff member at (619) 795-5005 or via tickets@padres.com.
Sincerely,
The San Diego Padres

Ah ok thankx for clearing that up
NP.......figured I'd just let them explain what the resolution was........
you can tell how much it (doesn't) rain in San Diego.
Wheras It's standard procedure in other parts of the country, we're running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to figure out what to do with a ticket to a rescheduled rain-out game.

Back in the 80's the Padres had a rain delay........but the crew couldn't get the tarps out because they only had one key, and the guy that had the key had gone home already.........lol.........who expects rain in SD......
