Chan Ho has been excellent in the WBC
that's 4 saves now
Word on the street is that they are considring using him as the 7th inning guy before Scott Linebrink.
If this is the case, i'm pretty excited based off what i've seen.

Would you take that to mean that Hensley is going to get a shot at the rotation maybe as the #4 or #5 guy ?
Nothing beats a $15 million dollar middle reliever.
He is still making about that isn't he?

2006 is the last year of Park's contract and he's going to be making just a little over $16.1 million this year.Originally Posted by Molina00

and for what it's worth, the Padres are only paying 10 million of that.
But I will be sure to thank the Rangers for pitching in to pay our 16 million dollar 7th inning pitcher

if he's finally successful.........who cares where he plays ?
I'd laugh at that but then I recall us not also letting Dreifort go to FA and his best asset was being the 7th inning pitcher before DePo thought it was cute to trade Mota and put Dreifort in the 8th.Originally Posted by DirtyKash

He is batting .389 with 4 HR's, 10 RBI in 8 ST games. And keep in mind, he had a 20 HR, 100 RBI season back in '04, and hit almost .290. If he's healthy I don't expect much trouble with him.Originally Posted by HollywoodLeo

That said, his performance (or lack thereof) last year, both here and in Texas, was a mighty dissapointment.
I thought his numbers would go up in that park, but they got worse.
That said, he is having a good spring and I wish him the best.

I didn't hate on Phil for having a bad attitude.............I couldn't stand him because he only gave 50%, whined about the ballpark, and made far too much for the output he gave ( which is also the fault of the pads of course ).......pretty much the same reason I think Klesko should be benched......what he makes shouldn't automatically put him on the starting roster......if he doesn't produce, like he's not, he should find himself riding the pine......he makes far too much for the production he puts out......
the only thing Klesko isn't producing is HRs
He's maintained a pretty good OBP and a decent average.
But I shall now go look up the stats to see if they back my memory up.
