    I doubt you would have had to give much. Maybe a Termell Sledge and some money since the Pads knew Wells wanted back.

    Word on the rumor mill was that it would've taken Dave Roberts...and even that would've been too much for me.

    But I would've been fine with Sledge for Boomer....I just doubt that that'd be all it'd take

    Yeah you are probably right. I was just saying you don't have to give up much for a 42 year old who is asking to be traded. Roberts is too high for that.

    True...........however Wells does make a better run at 15 compared to Estes, Woody & Chan Ho..........and sorry I didn't quantify that better, I was comparing Wells to the other aging vets we have......... my bad
